Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integration and Analysis:
- Write sophisticated scripts to integrate diverse datasets.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden patterns and relationships.
- Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to train predictive analytics.
- Apply the right combination of tools and techniques to transform disparate data points into meaningful insights.
- Data Enrichment and Prioritization:
- Enrich and prioritize data to discover relationships and correlations.
- Enable the identification of structures, roles, and key relationships related to actors, devices, or facilities.
- Situational Awareness and Data Unification:
- Provide situational awareness by unifying data into a coherent and accurate context.
- Create comprehensive visualizations that present data insights clearly and concisely.
- Systems Modeling and Business Analytics:
- Perform systems modeling to create computational analogs of real-world systems.
- Generate business analytics to support data-driven decision-making and enhance intelligence operations.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physical Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 2-4 years of experience, or PhD with 0-2 years of experience.
- Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrated knowledge in two or more of the following areas:
- Applied Mathematics (e.g., probability and statistics, multivariable calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, stochastic processes, graph theory).
- Computer Programming (e.g., scripting, data parsing/ETL, artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, software versioning, distributed computing).
- Data Visualization (e.g., dashboard creation, network analysis, GIS/geospatial analysis, telemetry analysis).
- Innovation and Problem-Solving:
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in solving complex problems.
- Ability to organize and manage relevant information using advanced data management tools.
- Hypothesis Testing and Application Development:
- Develop hypotheses about data and create software applications to test them.
- Skilled in data storytelling through graphical, verbal, or written narratives.
