Purpose and Need

As part of EI's Communications Service Line, the Coordinator is responsible for supporting communications work across EI's projects and internal operating units, scoping and tracking current and upcoming Communication Service Line assignments to ensure the production of leading-edge, high-quality communication tools and products. The candidate must have the ability, skills, and experience to independently carry out tasks, using sound judgment and leveraging the guidance of the Communications Service Line Lead, technical experts, and project management teams.

The Communications Service Line Coordinator will have the opportunity to learn and apply their expertise in communications to achieve Environmental Incentives' purpose through the implementation of U.S. government contracted work.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure smooth communication and collaboration among team members by coordinating project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and availability, refining resource use across various projects.
  • Develop and keep project timelines, ensuring that tasks are completed within deadlines and adjusting schedules as needed.
  • Streamline communication processes and workflow to enhance efficiency, minimizing bottlenecks and maximizing productivity.
  • Implement systems to track and report the status of projects, providing regular updates to stakeholders on progress and potential roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with the project teams to watch project budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently, and costs are within the given budget.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and reports.
  • Look for process improvement opportunities and implement changes to enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain open communication with team members to ensure a cohesive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling basic correspondence.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years relevant experience; a master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience managing multiple tasks.
  • Experience in basic budgeting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Monday.com or similar systems.
  • Experience providing administrative support to multiple team members, consultants, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in supporting USAID-funded projects.
  • Experience working in multi-cultural environments and building effective relationships with clients and colleagues, including managing processes with colleagues with more experience.
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to multitask, meet urgent deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to solve operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, well-rounded experience, and knowledge.
  • Ability to collaborate with, listen to, respect, and celebrate the contributions of others, including others of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong facilitation and copy-editing skills.
  • Advanced to expert knowledge of MS Office suite (particularly MS Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar Google Drive/File Stream, Sheets, Docs).
Base Station

This opportunity is a full-time position. The position will be based in Washington, D.C. Environmental Incentives is implementing a hybrid work model in which employees are required to work in the office two days per week.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The starting salary range for this position is $52,000-$60,000 per year.
