About the Company & Product Manager Opportunity:

• Our repeat client is a PE backed manufacturer in the Baltimore area. Due to a retirement, they are hiring a Product Manager to join their accounting team
• This Product Manager will work with a small and lean, tight knit team. This company is big on internal development and promoting from within. They will train someone from the ground up on this position.

• Typical schedule: M-F 9am-5:30pm, 100% on site in Halethorpe, MD
• Reports directly to the CEO
• Salary $60,000 - $65,000 depending on experience to start

Job Duties of the Product Manager:

• Support the CEO, CFO, and sales team and work closely with the Director of Business Development
• Measure product dimensions and calculate required logistical information
• Gather all product information required for entry into ERP and customer portals, leveraging factory contacts and design team members as needed
• Update and maintain accuracy of all product offerings and pricing in pricelists, sales materials, and the ERP system
• Track new products from the development process through production and delivery
• Communicate deadlines and progress on key launches or proposals to stakeholders
• Extract product and customer data from systems and organize it into reports or spreadsheets to support the sales team and management
• Assist in drafting PowerPoint presentations for large customer proposals as requested by Sales Team
• Manage all customer portal integrations
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications of the Product Manager:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required
• Manufacturing industry beneficial, but not required
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel required
• Strong math and organization skills
• Able to take direction, can-do attitude!
