Job Summary
Ourisman Subaru Volkswagen of Waldorf seeks a full-time Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor will provide exceptional customer service to customers by taking ownership of the customer's experience in the service department. The Service Advisor must be knowledgeable in the customer service field and be able to communicate clearly to the customer what services they are requesting and make appropriate recommendations to customer to ideally improve their experience.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a base plus commission job. Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k, and paid leave as required by law.
Responsibilities
Ensure that all customer inquiries are handled promptly and courteously.
Greet all customers in a timely and professional manner
Handle customer's needs and requests as quickly and efficiently as possible in a professional manner
Interface with the Service Department Staff and communicate any customers concerns or requests
Explain necessary service and repairs to customers
Keep customers informed on progress, changes, and costs
Answer customer calls and emails in a timely manner
Accurately enter customer information into the system
Work collaboratively with team members and dealership management
Other duties as required
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Outstanding customer service skills
3+ years of experience in customer service
Automotive industry experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain organized
Ability to work in a team environment
