About the Position:
- Develop and implement engineering programs for career and professional development.
- Organize webinars and workshops.
- Represent the organization in the scientific community to cultivate relationships and collaborations.
- Identify industry trends and evaluate needs for new products, services, and member benefits.
- Secure sponsorships, grants, and partnerships with Foundations, Federal Agencies, and private companies for STEM initiatives.
- Manage the org-wide Career Center, ensuring high-quality job postings and revenue generation through sponsorships and career fairs.
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in higher education career centers, membership organizations, or scientific societies.
- Experience in program development, marketing, membership, or career development is required.
- Skilled in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and key players.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required and experience with online CSM such as Boxwood is preferred.
- $35/hr-$40/hr, while temporary.
- $75K-$85K, when permanent.
- Hybrid onsite for 2 days/week.
- Office located in Washington, DC.
- Metro accessible!
- Approximately 10% travel annually.
