Position Overview:The Product Owner Senior role in the Single-Family Acquisitions department will support the Digital Design & Agile Practices. This role helps SF Mission & Community Engagement Team realize their business goals, by providing product vision for new products as well as product improvement strategy.Our Impact:Enabling the implementation of the product vision for new Affordable Housing products and product improvement strategy for existing Affordable Housing productsYour Impact:Ensures alignment of product features and prioritize user stories in line with product vision and in support of the business needs.Drives sprint and release plans together with the Scrum Master and organizational technology teams.Follows a results-oriented, clear vision of product and communicates effectively to key partners and the rest of the team.Presents the Affordable Housing Strategy and Housing Insights & Solutions business vision as the principal contact, subject matter expert and product leader.Ensures customer-driven design to deliver a scalable productCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to define product vision, strategy, and roadmapAssess customer needs and market trends to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing productsDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, their features, and their target audiencePrioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that it aligns with the overall product strategy and goalsDefine and communicate clear product requirements and user stories to the development teamConduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze data to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvementMonitor product performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimizations and enhancementsWork closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in on product plans and prioritiesManage product launches and releases, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deliveryFoster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Product Owner team and across the organizationProvide regular updates and reports to senior management on product performance, roadmap, and key initiativesRepresent the product team in meetings and presentations with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and partners.Qualifications:5-7+ years of related Product Owner experience in the Financial services industry, preferably mortgageExperience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) management and/or training platformsBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceExperience with consumer education and/or client partner trainingExperience with cloud platform products and vendor managementExperience with agile product development, user centered design concepts and tools such as customer journey mappingExperience/understanding in Change Management and change processes/controls.Strong analytical and problem-solving thought processesExperience with APM tools like Atlassian Jira, ConfluenceStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present sophisticated ideas in a clear, concise manner to technical, non-technical and senior level management audiencesKeys to Success in this Role:Sense of ownershipStrong interpersonal, technical, and organizational skillsEngage inclusively, actively and work collaboratively with the teamExcellent verbal and written communication skills, technical awareness and leadership abilitiesPassion for driving value to customers and dedication to facilitating modern digital processes (Agile) and deliveryCurrent Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing. This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $184,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
