Spectrum has a per diem/ PRN opportunity for a Medical Appointment Clerk at the Dumfries Health Center in Dumfries, Virginia. We provide out-patient clinic services for enlisted and retired military personnel in association with Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital. This position provides coding duties in support of patient care and treatment. Position Duties Include:Manages day-to-day operations of the clinic's Appointment Center. Assists in building templates and schedules. Enters provider schedules into CHCS appointing system per Lead Physician's approval. Assist with other duties as needed and assigned. PRN position would work as needed which could be any hours Monday-Friday: 0600-2000 and Saturday 0600-1400. They are required to work 2 shifts per month but could work up to 35 hours in a week, based on coverage needs. Our schedule is posted 4-6 weeks ahead of time.
