Active Home Care is a home health agency located in Alexandria, VA. We are professional, agile, customer-centric and our goal is to Assist the elderly community while providing in-home high-quality care.

We are looking for a Home Health Aide to provide care and assistance to individuals in their homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing basic medical care, assisting with daily activities, and helping to maintain a safe and clean environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in home health care, a compassionate and caring attitude, the ability to work independently and speak Spanish fluently.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Monitor vital signs and other health-related activities.
• Transport clients to medical appointments or other activities.
• Provide medication reminders and assistance with self-administered medications.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 80 per week
