Overview:

BlueWater Federal is looking for an Enterprise Architect to evolve the clients vision by delivering a rigorous approach to IT modernization and transformations across the program

The effort will focus on a wide range of IT services through migration to the Intelligence Community (IC) information sharing, secure cloud-based operational environment, the Intelligence Communitys Information Technology Enterprise (ICITE) along with an array of technical expertise and analytical support which allows DOE and the United States Intelligence Community (USIC) to detect, protect, mitigate, and counter hostile threats directed against DOE networks and critical national assets.

• Support and strengthen clients governance, enterprise architecture, and cloud migration frameworks
• Provide expertise to ensure innovative ideas and emerging technologies are aligned with clients strategic and operational goals
• Analyze current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies/security gaps and recommend industry best practice solutions for improvement
• Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals, and strategies and gain organizational commitment for enterprise level architecture and infrastructure initiatives.
• Work with client to evaluate and prioritize modernization initiatives
• Perform technology liaison leadership to facilitate, collaborate, and integrate impactful and advanced technical solutions for large-scale mission impacts
• Maintain integrity of information/data and availability of systems, while maintaining continuity of business operations
• Rapidly adjust designs based on new defense, threat, and attack information
• Ensure secure architectural solutions are incorporated into every aspect of the enterprise architecture supporting an organizations key business processes and organizational operational and support missions

• Bachelors degree is required
• Must have an active Top Secret clearance; highly desired is a TS with SSBI within last 2 years or Q clearance or SCI.
• 15+ years of IT infrastructure solution engineering and service delivery experiences, including solution areas in data center operations, server (Windows, Linux, other), LAN/WAN network, storage, virtualization, cloud, database, and security. Strong experience leading the design and integration of enterprise-level technical solutions.
• 4+ years of in-depth experience on system disaster recovery/COOP and backup solution engineering, implementation, and operation management.
• 5+ years of in-depth experience in VMWare and other virtualization technologies.
• 5+ years of strong experience with enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS) and associated thin provisioning, replication, automated tiering, continuous backup solutions.
