Job Summary: As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring the efficient handling and storage of goods, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain warehouse machinery, including forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and automated sample making systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a warehouse operator and machine technician.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills - bilingual
