Job Title: Assistant Clinical Director (ACD)

Reports to: Clinical Director (CD)

Location: Beltsville, MD Clinic

Job Summary: Our ACDs provide leadership and organizational management in a therapy clinic for both RBTs and BCBAs in addition to maintaining responsibilities including but not limited to client programming, behavior interventions, staff development, classroom management, and parent training.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and score initial (and ongoing) cases using appropriate tools
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for each client and communicate goals/progress with your team of Behavior Technicians
  • Maintain a caseload of clients across all aspects of treatment including intake, assessment, case conceptualization and treatment planning, intervention, data-based outcome evaluation, treatment plan revision, report writing, care-giver training, and post-service transition.
  • Ensure clinical quality of the center and other BCBAs, conducting case reviews of your team
  • Meet billable hour targets for supervision and parent trainings
    • Minimum 5% supervision per kid
    • Minimum Parent Training 1x per month per client, ideally 2x per month
    • 20 billable hours per week
  • Provide supervision for BCBA/BCaBA candidates
  • Ensure quarterly goals are met and clinical audits are passed
  • Develop parent training goals and lead parent training meetings
  • Collaborate with Speech and Occupational Therapists to coordinate the therapy of shared clients
  • Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children as necessary
  • Attend team meetings as scheduled
  • Carry out the Ally Behavior Handbook guidelines
  • Maintain strict client confidentiality following HIPAA protocol
  • Maintain open communication with families and clinical teams to ensure the most effective treatment and goals

Experiential & Certification Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required
  • MD license as behavioral analyst (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board required
  • BLS Certification (or willingness to complete training and exam upon hire)
  • Ability to be on-site from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday required
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Must submit to a federal and state background check

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to reach and hold objects
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
