Hiring Opportunity: Dublin OH
Our client is looking to add an Electrical Design Engineer to their growing team! Individuals can be based out of the Columbus area and report to the Dublin location or be based near Bellefontaine and report to that facility.
Our client is a custom machine manufacturer of material handling solutions and is a growing leader within that market.
Qualified candidates will need to have strong design experience with a background in PLC's and HMI's.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
* Develop technical electrical controls expertise
* Assist other departments with electrical controls information
* Provide electrical control system and panel design
* Provide PLC, HMI, and Robot programming on various platforms
* Provide project documentation
* Provide startup and commissioning services for projects
* Develop electrical troubleshooting capability
Requirements
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Ability to travel up to 25% per year primarily in the United States
* Ability to work in a factory and "job shop" environment
* Ability to communication work status and issues
* Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
* High attention to detail
* High Competency with Microsoft products
* Bachelor"s degree within electrical engineering discipline -OR-
* Associates degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience
