Knowledge Manager - Mid

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph to be considered.

Cherokee Analytics is seeking a Knowledge Manager to provide advanced analytic capabilities and tradecraft to all source intelligence analysts.

Compensation & Benefits:

Knowledge Manager - Mid Responsibilities Include:
  • Assists aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.
  • Uses centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes.
  • Compiles reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and
  • taskings.
  • Disseminates intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
  • Conducts database design and maintenance and database performance tuning
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge Manager - Mid Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Desired to have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience related to the Knowledge Manager role with at least a portion of the experience within the last two (2) years.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience programming, operating, and maintaining databases
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience applying quantitative and qualitative research methods including data mining and analysis
  • Desired to have a Bachelor's Degree in an area related to the Knowledge Manager position.
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • Successful completion of one of the following:
    • Microsoft Access
    • SQL Server
    • NoSQL database management
  • Experience using descriptive and multivariate statistical procedures to analyze qualitative data using Spotfire, SPSS, Excel, or equivalent programs
  • Comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of developmental training and experiences for the Knowledge Manager.
  • Ability to guide teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution
  • Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
