Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of aircraft parts. Maintain accurate inventory records and implement inventory control measures to reduce discrepancies.
- Shipping and Receiving Management: Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of aircraft parts and materials, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the process.
- Warehouse Operations: Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all warehouse equipment. Manage the layout of the warehouse to optimize space utilization.
- Team Leadership and Development: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams to achieve common goals, foster collaboration, and create a culture of continuous improvement.
- Quality Control: Knowledge of quality management principles and ability to implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements in warehouse logistics processes.
- Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors and transport companies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of aviation parts.
- Communication: Effectively communicate ideas, initiatives, and results to diverse audiences, including senior management, frontline staff, and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the aviation industry. candidate with prior experience with warehouse management of aircraft parts is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures and best practices.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Must be "hands-on" and willing to roll up sleeve to support operational activities.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
