Job Title: Senior IT Project MangerJob Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)Job Description:Randstad is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join our client's Infrastructure Platform Services department. This role focuses on managing Mainframe and Data Center Migration projects within the Information Technology department. The ideal candidate will utilize best practices, project management tools, methodologies, and processes to ensure projects are completed on budget and schedule, from full implementation to rollout of all hardware and software.Responsibilities:Manage senior-level, complex programs and projects involving multiple departments and external vendors.Utilize formal project management monitoring and control processes, including managing schedules, tracking and mitigating risks and issues, change management, configuration management, quality assurance, and budget preparation and reporting.Direct technical leads, project team members, and consultants/contractors.Develop and maintain essential project documents such as Project Charters, Project Management Plans, Requirements documents, Design documents, Architecture inputs, Test Plans, Test results, Implementation Plans, Post Implementation reports, Lessons Learned, Project schedules, budgets, and Resource management plans.Produce weekly program status reports.Conduct project status meetings and other necessary meetings.Manage project schedules using MS Enterprise Project Management (EPM) and MS Project Professional 2010.Report schedule and budget variances.Create and maintain SharePoint project sites within the EPM system.Ensure quality project schedules, baselines, and estimates to complete projects and report variances.Report on risks and provide ongoing risk management plans, assessments, and mitigations.Report on ongoing issues and changes using existing processes and templates.Publish weekly status reports of activities, accomplishments, issues, and actions to resolve issues.Ensure all activities required for operational readiness review are completed on time.Create Statements of Work (SOW) for Requests for Proposal (RFP) and associated vendor response evaluations.Verify creation of all necessary documents from vendors as outlined in the SOW or create new ones as required.Provide SOWs for ongoing support services as necessary.Evaluate criteria for product and proposal analysis.Deliverables:Deliver programs and projects on schedule and on budget.Present projects at Quality Checkpoints and Department Level Project Reviews.Requirements:Bachelor s degree in Project Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of work experience, training, and education.At least seven years of hands-on program and project management experience from initiation to implementation using formal project management methodologies and processes.Significant experience in technology management, analysis, and administration.Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficient in using MS Project Office Professional, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.Experience with project management tools such as MS Project Server (EPM), Primavera, etc.Preferred:At least five years of experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project Server (EPM).PMP Certification.Experience leading large, complex data center migrations.Experience:5-15 yearsSkills:Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, Project management experience, MS Project Office Professional, and Visio, project management tools such as MS Project Server (EPM)
