Job Description:

The Lab Assistant assists laboratory technical staff by performing various pre-analytical and support functions.

* Orders and verifies specimens.

* Performs pre-analytical specimen preparation.

* Processes referral testing.

* Processes specimen rejections.

* Responds to customer requests.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.

* Previous laboratory experience preferred.

* Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.

Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
