We at the Smart Solutions Team of CBRE, are looking for a Project Designer in Brookfield, WI. The purpose of this position is to provide layout and design for control systems based on project specifications and/or sales proposal.


**What youll do**


+ Create riser diagrams, flow diagrams, material lists, sequence of operations, panel layouts, termination details and schedules.


+ Modifies drawings for as-installed project documentation.


+ Performs sizing calculations for control valves and dampers.


+ Makes product selection based on project estimate, job requirements, regulatory compliance and engineering standards.


+ Read and understand HVAC/R and process mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, etc.


+ Completes panel check-out.


+ Other duties may be assigned.

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**


+ Associates Degree in Mechanical Design Technology or related field. Bachelor's Degree in HVAC/R or related field preferred.


**OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES**


Experience with HVAC application engineering, design, sequences of operation for electrical circuits and schematics.


Knowledge of computer hardware and software including applications with a detailed understanding of basic drawing, CAD layout and concepts.


**Scope of responsibility**


Able to work a flexible with schedule, including working some nights and/or holidays when request. Must be willing to travel including at times overnight travel.

CBRE Carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidates education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this HVAC Controls Designer position is $25 per hour, and the maximum salary for this position is $34 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBREs applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
