Our client is seeking a highly skilled IT Business Systems Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, map order processes, and support the use of their current JD Edwards systems and processes that will assist with the conversion to a SAP Implementation planned for 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT), system integration testing (SIT), and process documentation. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for system enhancements and new functionalities.
- Conduct detailed order process mapping to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support an order's documentation and process mapping through the current JD Edwards system that will drive requirements for a planned SAP implementation.
- Develop and execute UAT and SIT plans to ensure system changes meet business requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including workflows, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, providing recommendations for resolution.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users to ensure successful project outcomes
Minimum Qualifications (required):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst with deep experience in JD Edwards.
- Strong understanding of order processing and related business processes.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
- Experience with UAT and SIT methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
