The Building People, LLC, has a position open for Maximo Lead Developer.Implement an industry-standard Agile development methodology such as those promoted by the Agile Alliance, the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) or the Project Management Institute (PMI) to deliver software products and services that focus on maximizing business value quickly and in small-scaled increments allowing DOS to be proactive to Business change within the environment.Practices are to be applied with SCRUM, KANBAN, Lean, and XP where appropriate to maximize the value delivered.All standard activities related to Quality Assurance and management reporting shall be performed within the Agile context.Propose appropriate tools and processes to manage a portfolio of products utilizing Agile methodologies and encourage innovation and emerging technologies, as well as high product quality.Integration /Application Development, Requirements/Analysis, and Best Practice Guidance. Within these areas, Integration /Application Development Consolidation/streamlining of existing architecture to ensure ongoing compatibility with system upgrades and evolving business needsMaintaining current and future Maximo implementations; triaging and resolving production issues related to Maximo and integrated systemsDevelopment and execution of software test plans (unit, backend, integration testing) and coordination of user acceptance testingReviewing, testing, and deployment of Maximo management systems security enhancement patchesLeading release migration, performance testing and tuning, upgrade and patch installation testingProviding production support to analyze day-to-day issues and respond quickly to resolve problems, minimizing business impact.Bachelors degree from an accredited University or College5 yrs of experience supporting large 1500-2000 user Maximo programExperience with SCRUM, KANBAN, Lean, or XPEnterprise Onsite Integrated Project Team supporting MaximoExperience supporting supply chain, material order, procurement & inventory with MaximoExperienced with large onsite project involving multiple contractors.Work is on siteTop Secret Clearance RequiredAdditional RequirementsSelf-motivated and desire to always deliver with excellence.Organized with the ability to multitask.High attention to detail.Ability to operate independently.Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to meet Federal & DoD Gov t security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, plus agency-specific screening.2+ years successfully working from home or remote location, with minimal supervision.Operate within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client-required cyber security data and operational processes.
