Franchise Contract Specialist

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

Salesforce administration for the department - run reports and provide analytics of contract data from the system, data entry and data upkeep, issue spotting data issues and correcting data issues within the system and handling Salesforce improvements for the department.

Application processing for the relicensing of franchised properties (which includes performing background checks and obtaining credit reports on applicants)

Ensuring compliance with disclosure documents

Prepares notices of Application and distributes to various Red Roof departments

Communicates with Team, Operations Team, Applicants and Franchisees

Prepare Franchise Agreements and other associated documentation (i.e. RediStay Agreements, Comfort Letters, Conditional Approval Letters)

Prepare modifications to the standard form of Franchise Agreement in accordance with deal terms after ensuring appropriate approvals have been obtained by Senior Management.

Finalize processing of executed transactions by preparing action notices and opening memos as well as organizing property files.

Return counter signed Agreements to Franchisees after confirming all required perimeters have been met.

Prepare, modifications to Franchise Agreement (Amendments) and distributes Amendment Memos to various- departments within Red Roof

Prepare and coordinate Comfort Letters and assists Franchisees and Lenders

Maintain electronic franchise files

Participate 'in annual Franchise Disclosure Renewal process.

Maintain various reports such as Projected Openings, Monthly Royalty Rates, Applications Received and Franchise Information Summary Report

Support the Operations Team by preparing and forwarding new PIP letters and coordinating the securing of opening documents needed prior to opening (i.e. deeds,
proof of terminations)

Involved in special projects as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Strong Time Management Skills

Exceptional organization skills and ability to multi-task

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to work in a team-based system

Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office

Strong attention to detail

Franchise industry experience preferred but not required

Contract administration experience preferred but not required.

Salesforce experience is strongly preferred but not required.
