Randstad is seeking a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure and Cloud Migration Project Manager to join our client's Information Technology department. In this role, you will be a pivotal member of the Infrastructure Platform Services team, specifically within the department PMO. You will manage complex, distributed server to cloud migration projects, ensuring they are delivered on budget and on schedule through to full implementation and rollout of all hardware and software.

location: Washington, Washington, D.C.

salary: $70 - 80 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities

  • Lead and direct technical leads, project team members, and consultants/contractors.

  • Develop and maintain all required project documents, including:

  • Project Charter

  • Project Management Plan

  • Requirements Documents

  • Design Documents

  • Input to Architecture Documents

  • Test Plan and Results

  • Implementation Plans

  • Post Implementation and Lessons Learned

  • Project Schedules and Budgets

  • Resource Management Plans

  • Produce and distribute weekly program status reports.

  • Conduct project status and other relevant meetings.

  • Manage project schedules using MS Enterprise Project Management (EPM) and MS Project Professional 2010.

  • Report on schedule and budget variances.

  • Create and maintain SharePoint project sites within the EPM system.

  • Ensure the quality and maintenance of project schedules, baselines, and estimates.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, producing ongoing risk management plans and assessments.

  • Manage ongoing issues and changes, publishing relevant reports.

  • Create and publish weekly status reports detailing activities, accomplishments, issues, and actions to resolve issues.

  • Ensure all activities required for successful operational readiness review are completed on time.

  • May develop Statements of Work (SOW) for Request for Proposals (RFP) and evaluate vendor responses.

  • Provide SOW for ongoing support services as necessary.

  • Evaluate criteria for product and proposal analysis.
