Job description

Overview

LMI is currently seeking Mission Operations Planning Consultant to support our customer in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will have had roles on several project teams which were focused in the areas listed below or have played key Subject Matter Expert role on critical technical operations projects. They will have successfully identified new opportunities where skills were applied to address pressing client mission needs.

* Planning in support of Technical Operations

* Planning in support of Technical/HUMINT Operations

* Planning in support of developing Technical collection program requirements

* Operational Assessments

Responsibilities

Candidates will have supported initiatives across multiple IC organizational components, and must possess strong client, written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should have direct experience in several of the following management consulting disciplines, and be able to describe successful client results which flowed from the application of their efforts in these areas:

* Strategic Operational Planning

* Operational and/or Technology Assessments

* Project Integration

* Portfolio Management

* Organizational Development

* Customer Relationship Management

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree desired

* More than 7-10 years of experience in the Intelligence Community

* Background in the IC regarding technical operations, operational assessments, HUMINT and technical collection. Specifically,

* Demonstrated on-the-job experience and expertise technical operations, technical collection and technical services, and associated HUMINT enablement. This includes operational assessment, gaps/needs assessments, how to identify required changes, posit multiple solutions, and provide guidance to senior executives that will affect outcomes.

* Demonstrated on-the-job experience using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Security Clearance Statement:

TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph is required. Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances. Please note that only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
