The Mail / Warehouse Clerk will support a Federal Government contract in Springfield, VA. Essential duties and responsibilities for the position include the following:Process mail and material which includes packages, parcels, pouches, bins, containers, etc., in varying shapes and sizes manually. Identify and classify mail and material by type and destination. Verify manifests against mail and material. Scan mail and material into the system. Lift and sort mail and material from flats to 70-pound boxes. Move mail and material using carts, tubs, or forklifts. Perform functions to meet established processing schedules. Perform duties in accordance with safe warehouse operations policies and practices. Maintain knowledge to perform assigned tasks to achieve contract performance requirements and acceptable quality levels. Maintain knowledge to use ILMS and other government systems to meet contract requirements.
