EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for IT Project Manager in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Use Six sigma lean methodologies and value stream mapping to define and implement automation for back-office business processes.
- Map out and coordinate highly technical business system application code and platform integration strategies and execution.
- Determine and close execution gaps and use project management tools like Microsoft Project as well as understanding of the Consumer Business by drawing backend flows for projects, and fluency of post launch monitoring process to ensure the project meets customer requirements.
- Complete cross functional projects which involves project planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management.
Basic Requirements:
- Master's degree in Management, Information Technology, Project Management or a closely related field plus 6 months' experience in strategic planning, project planning, and stakeholder management OR Bachelor's degree in Management, Information Technology, Project Management or a closely related field plus 5 years' experience in strategic planning, project planning, and stakeholder management.
- Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: Jira, Tableau, MS Project, Vizio, Service Management, Confluence, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, Lean Methodology, and Quality Control.
