Lab Technician Apprentice (LTA) Intern

The requirements listed define the Lab Technician Apprentice (LTA) responsibilities and tasking. The LTA is a part time or full time technician assigned to work in a laboratory on computer, electrical and mechanical systems. The LTA shall work with software and hardware using the development life cyle, system administration functions, cyber security practices and cyber certification processes to maintain and test the core mission system baselines. The LTA shall support the Minotaur Chief Integration Officer (CIO)/Program Manager and other team members to accomplish the team goals. The LTA shall work in the Mission Integration Lab (MIL) seeking guidance, mentorship, and direction from the MIL Manager.

The LTA shall be qualified to execute the below functions.

* LTA1: Review basic software and hardware architectures, designs and functional requirements for aircraft, ground, surface, web and cloud mission systems.

* LTA2: Draft and execute system and software configuration, test, checkout, power on/off procedures.

* LTA3: Review cyber strategies, risk factors, document solutions, resolve non-compliance, execute contingency responses and plans.

* LTA4: Utilize tools, develop configurations, and provide service updates related to system administration and cyber security controls IAW DISA, DHS and DOD compliance.

* LTA5: Draft and follow instructions on cyber security processes into agile development practices to include configuration of software, integrating new controls, and interfaces required for mission system operation.

* LTA7: Execute system admin functions.

* LTA8: Review and develop technical documentation.

* LTA9: Work with team members to ensure system usability, reliability and sustainability.

* LRA10: Use hand tools and power tools to remove, install, assemble lab hardware equipment to include servers, mounts, frames, lab furniture, support equipment, etc.

* LTA11: Maintain a code of conduct to ensure safeguarding data, information and processes of the US Government and Prescient Edge Corporation (PEC).

* LTA12: Conduct reviews of software and hardware systems.

* The minimum qualifications is good standing in 12th grade while attending high school or graduate with a high school diploma. A passed GED is acceptable as qualification for the Lab Technician Apprentice position.
