Senior Web Manager- Remote East or Central US

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Web Manager to join our team in Ashburn VA!

As our Senior Web Manager, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of functional web pages and applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, digital strategists, and marketing professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our web pages meet high standards of quality, performance, and user experience.

Your Challenge:

**Requirements Analysis:** Identify user and system requirements for new websites and applications. 10%

**Wireframing and Layout:** Create wireframes to decide on the layout of web pages. 10%

**Project Prioritization:** Prioritize software development projects, set timelines, and assign tasks to team members. 20%

**Coding and Testing:** Write or review code for various applications, run functionality tests, and debug code. 20%

**UI/UX Collaboration:** Liaise with designers to decide on UI/UX elements, including graphics and navigation buttons. 10%

**Documentation:** Ensure our software documentation is up-to-date. 5%

**Project Management:** Manage web development projects, including scoping, planning, and technical architecture. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. 20%

**Vendor Management:** Work closely with third-party developers and hosting partners. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts. 5%

What you Bring:

+ A Bachelor's Degree is required.

+ Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in web development, with a focus on large-scale web products.

+ Proficiency in Drupal, coding, and project management is essential.

+ Ability to develop solutions independently is necessary.

+ Expert knowledge of web programming languages, including HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, and PHP, is required.

+ Experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools is expected.

+ A good understanding of security practices is important.

+ Candidates should have a solid understanding of server-side development, encompassing PHP, database development, web servers, sandboxes, and caching mechanisms.

+ A strong grasp of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum, is preferred.
