This individual will report directly to the Associate Director, Supply Chain Compliance Lead, and be responsible for all Procurement and Subcontract compliance activities supporting a number of Sub-Strategic Business Units (SBUs). The successful candidate will be responsible for executing Procurement Compliance strategies that align with Sub-SBU Supply Chain and Program strategies supporting both the capture and execution of business. Strategies will focus on improving our competitive advantage through lowering costs, improving cycle times, and maintaining compliance to all FAR / DFARS requirements and Nightwing policies and procedures.Another critical area for this leader is skills development and process improvement to drive performance excellence and efficiency. The successful candidate must embrace the active use of performance metrics for suppliers, programs, and Acquisition Professionals to evolve to a performance-based culture.Required Skills:10+ years of applicable work experience in Procurement, Compliance or related field ideally in a US government contractor environmentExpert knowledge of procurement and compliance checklist processesStrong understanding of US Government FAR/DFARS Regulations, Public Law, Import/Export requirements, and procurement / compliance processesProven ability to be an Influential communicator in order to achieve buy in for new ideasPossess excellent written and verbal communications skillsDemonstrated strong project management skills and ability to convert business unit customer requirements into executable Supply Chain strategies, including developing and tracking metricsAbility to develop and execute project plans within budget and schedule constraints, ability to simultaneously manage multiple programs and prioritiesProven ability to be a role model for open and honest communicationsDemonstrated trust and respect for peers and teammatesDesired Skills:Active Security Clearance Secret or aboveMasters in Supply Chain Management or MBASound leadership, problem solving and critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complex transactionsRequired Education:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldEquivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor Degree = 8 years of additional applicable experience)Previously part of a leading Fortune 100 company and headquartered in Dulles, VA; Nightwing became independent in 2024 but continues to support the nation s most mission impactful initiatives.When we formed Nightwing, we brought a deep set of credentials and an unfaltering commitment to the mission. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
