Job description

The Client Service Coordinator reports to the Operations Director and is critical to providing superior client experience. This position utilizes excellent customer service, attention to detail, and time management skills.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Supports Financial Advisor/Operations Director of a large book of business including handling all administrative functions for Financial Advisors and the firmRegular client interaction including appointment scheduling and correspondence; answer all incoming calls and direct/take messages appropriately and according to firm guidelinesAssist in client meeting preparation and follow-up including assembling requisite paperwork, report generation, appointment scheduling and post-meeting documentationProcess, submit, and service all account paperwork/requests; follow through to completion utilizing paperless procedures (including eSignature) where availableDeposit checks received and maintain check blotter in adherence to compliance guidelinesMaintain client information in CRM databaseManage and update mailing lists for birthdays, holidays, and firm marketing effortsOrder supplies for office and act as point of contact for any infrastructure requestsOther duties as assigned by Senior Client Service AssociateAdvanced computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) are essentialStrong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks at onceAbility to build relationships with clients and internal partners and influence others without direct controlThe ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry allowing for a good understanding of broker/dealer operations andPrevious experience in the independent financial services culture preferredSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneKnowledge, Skills, and/or AbilitiesAdvanced computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) are essentialExcellent communication skills, both verbally and in writingStrong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks at onceAbility to build relatonships with clients and internal partners and influence others without direct controlEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor s degree in a business-related field preferredThe ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry allowing for a good understanding of broker/dealer operations and financial services products, including but not limited to: equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accountsPrevious experinece in the independent financial services culture preferredCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationSeries 7 and 65/66 preferred (or ability to obtain)
