Job DescriptionBuilding off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI). This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to make it a world class engineering center with the focus on excellence.OHAI is seeking an experienced SRE practice leader to help the establishment and growth of the Site Reliability Engineering practice within Oracle Health Production Engineering. As an SRE leader, you will be responsible for leading our SRE community and driving initiatives to enhance the reliability of our products and services. You will work closely with product development, product operations, and infrastructure operations to ensure our customers have a quality experience with our products. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking to drive continuous improvement in product reliability, scalability, and performance.This Position s responsibilities include: Lead distributed SRE community, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to establish SRE capabilities into product operations teams. Work closely with product engineering and operations team to develop new capabilities to improve product availability, scalability, and performance. Identify and drive key improvement initiatives across product teams. Represent technical community as part of the Production Engineering leadership team.Career Level - IC5ResponsibilitiesKey Requirements/Experience include:Minimum 12 years of relevant engineering experienceDeep knowledge of SRE practices, methodologies, and principlesExperience leading and maturing SRE communities or teamsExperience modernizing legacy application stacks with SRE principlesDeveloping/operating large scale distributed services and/or applicationsWorking with or supporting production, test, and development environments for large scale user environmentsDisclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyUS: Hiring Range: from $95,600 to $251,600 per annum.
