We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Team Leader & Project Manager to join our innovative engineering or architecture team. This role is integral to our success, as you will be leading a group of talented engineers and architects while managing projects from conception to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a bustling environment and is well-versed in coordinating teams and implementing projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering OR architecture, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in project management. You also must have expereince with core and shell or building envelope.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, or architects, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to effectively carry out their roles.
2. Plan, initiate, and manage projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
3. Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and other teams within the organization, to ensure project requirements are met.
4. Develop and implement project strategies and plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
5. Monitor project progress regularly and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
6. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the successful completion of projects.
7. Foster a positive and innovative work environment where team members feel valued and motivated.
8. Continuously improve processes, systems, and practices to enhance efficiency and productivity within the team.
9. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all projects.
10. Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new team members, as required.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Structural Engineering
2. A minimum of 6+ years of experience in a project management role within the engineering OR architecture industry.
3. Proven experience leading and managing teams, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire.
4. Exceptional project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within tight deadlines.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
7. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Sketchup etc.
8. Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
9. Strong commitment to adhering to safety regulations and maintaining high-quality standards.
