Description:Our client is one of the largest multi-disciplined consulting engineering firms in the Northern VA area, and they are looking to hire a Civil Project Engineer to join their team in the Ashburn, VA office! The Project Engineer should have Land Development experience and will work a project team to design a variety of projects, including industrial, commercial, and residential sites throughout Northern Virginia.Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist Project Managers and Senior Engineers in the planning and design of hydraulic and storm water collection systems.Create and run electronic hydraulic models for water and sewer systems, including static and extended period simulations as needed.Design, development, and management of land development projects.Manage job tasks as deadlines and priorities change.Top Skills & Qualifications:2-3+ years of land development or related experience (site grading, putting together site plans, hydraulics, storm water management, utility design, pond retentions, codes/ordinances, etc.)Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software's.Experience with Storm water Management Design.EIT Certification or PE License is preferred, but not required.Benefits:Career Growth Opportunities401kHealth, Dental, Vision InsurancePTO and Holidays.Schedule FlexibilityABOUT ACTALENTActalent connects passion with purpose.
