We are seeking a full-time(rotating day/night) experienced nurse in the field of cardiology or telemetry to join our team on the Progressive Coronary Care Unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital (Inova Schar Heart and Vascular). This is a weekend premium position- weekends only. PCCU is a fast paced, top performing unit with core values or teamwork, patient advocacy, and excellent patient care. Our specialty patient population includes but is not limited to:
- AMI/NSTEMI/STEMI pre and post PCI/PTCA
- Interventional recovery
- Pre-operative open-heart patients
- CHF exacerbation requiring Bipap/highflow/high level diuresis
- Arrhythmia management including TVP, AICD, PPM, and antiarrhythmic loading

Schedule: Full-Time/Rotating (Days/Nights) - 3x12 hr shifts
Requirements: Requires a minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting
Minimum Education Requirement: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred (must obtain within first 3 months)
Minimum Licensure/ Certification Requirement:
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.
