The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), a non-profit women's membership organization located in Washington DC, has a full-time opportunity in our DAR Store for an Order Processing Representative. Our DAR Store sells DAR clothing, novelties, gifts and more across multiple sales channels.

Job Duties:

• Accepts, processes, and fulfills orders from online sales portal.
• Packages and ships orders using our mailing system and methods.
• Provides courteous, professional, and knowledgeable service to patrons.
• Monitors inventory to ensure products are available for purchase and assists with store-wide inventory counts.
• Provides assistance with processing incoming merchandise.
• Back-ups mail room personnel when needed.

• Minimum of at least a year providing high level customer service, preferably in retail environment (e-commerce or in a brick and mortar store).
• Experience operating and maintaining store computer systems (POS cash registers, shipping software, etc.).
• A keen attention to detail to ensure all steps in sales process are free from errors.
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Must be able to lift and move merchandise, tables, display carts, boxes of various weights and perform other physical tasks related to daily store functions and set-up of merchandising.

• Hiring annual salary range is $41,000 to $47,000 , with the final determination based upon the candidate's overall experience.
