The ideal candidate will be able to design, manufacture, and interface with commercial vendors for the production of printed circuit boards based on industry standards. The candidate must have experience with PCB manufacturing, PCB assembly, and the proper handling and management of associated materials (chemicals, gases, etc.).Are you ready to make an impact? Begin your journey of a flourishing and meaningful career, share your resume with us today!In this role you will:Work as part of a team for the production of PCB designs and assemblies, Fabricate PCBs to support project tasks and objectives, Assist with the design and development of PCB engineering solutions in support of unique and complex customer requirements,Work as part of a team to maintain a safe operating environment in the shop and work closely with the safety officer to adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations,Assist with skills development for associated officer training and proper use of equipment,Work as part of a team to communicate and interface with internal customer stakeholders to gather end product requirements for development,Review E-CAD designs for potential manufacturing defects/challenges and recommend modifications to ensure smooth delivery process,Maintain fabrication machines, software, and supplies,Communicate with vendors to assist PCB fabrication and assembly needs in support of customer requirements and timelines,Create and maintain documentation for PCB fabrication equipment, processes, and techniques,CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required 5% of the time.Clearance Required:Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required, or active TS/SCI with willingness to upgrade to polygraph.Required Experience, Skills, and Education:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience. Additional work experience can be used in lieu of degree/combined with education.Demonstrated experience with PCB design and manufacturingDemonstrated experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting PCB fabrication equipment, software, and suppliesDemonstrated experience performing inspection of PCBsDemonstrated ability to advise and assist engineers with PCB fabrication best practicesDemonstrated experience working on a teamStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt quickly to changing requirementsAbility to obtain and maintain IPC specialist-level certifications related to PCB manufacturing Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred Experience, Skills, and Education:Altium training and designOriginal Posting Date:2024-06-04While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
