About the position

As a Buying Center Manager, you will ensure that customers experience The Sweetest Way To Buy or Sell Your Car by overseeing and managing all activities within the buying center of an organization. This role involves leading a team of buyers, ensuring efficient procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The Buying Center Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization acquires quality goods and services at the best possible prices to support business operations and strategic goals. IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCATED NEAR FAIRFAX, VA
The Buying Center Manager at a dealership is vital in ensuring the dealership maintains a high-quality, well-balanced vehicle inventory that meets customer demands. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and automotive industry expertise to drive the dealership's success and profitability.

Qualifications:
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
    • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
    • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
