Job description

AMSG needs an Organizational Change Management Subject Matter Expert to support a potential customer with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Strategic Acquisition Management Initiatives (SAMI) office.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling messages for various audiences.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing Organization Change Management strategies and plans.
  • Experience in managing internal and external communication channels, including websites, social media, and newsletters.
  • Knowledge of branding and marketing principles to effectively promote the program.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software and multimedia tools is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Accredited in Public Relations) are a plus.
The Candidate will develop and execute an effective Organization Change Management (OCM) strategy. This involves assessing organizational readiness for change, identifying key stakeholders, communicating the rationale for change, and facilitating the adoption of new processes, systems, or initiatives within the VA. The Candidate will design tailored OCM plans, provide training and support, address resistance to change, and monitor progress to ensure successful implementation and sustained organizational transformation. The Candidate will provide OCM support to SAMI Operations Plan, Acquisition Management Program (AMP), and End-to-end Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF). The OCM strategy and content will be used to engage and communicate with target audiences across the VA that include Senior Executives, Acquisition Workforce (Program/Project Managers (P/PM), Contracting Officers (CO), Contracting Officers Representatives (COR)), Acquisition Community (Resource Analyst, Financial Analyst, e.g.).

  • Provide enterprise-wide, advisory assistance in the planning, troubleshooting, integration, research, design, development, testing, modeling, simulation, and training on the most complex work requirements.
