AREA OF RESPONSIBILITYDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESClinical DepartmentsConducts targeted needs assessments in collaboration with leaders and/or content experts prior to developing education programs and instructional materials.Collaborates with other educators to provide consistency and avoid duplication on educational programs.Writes objectives and designs instructional content considering the experience and learning styles of the population served and specific material to be presented.Designs content that facilitates learning and focuses on essential, work related information that can be directly applied.Integrates current clinical information into educational offerings and consultations. Selects instructional methods that consider the appropriate objective domain, learning styles, cost-effectiveness, time commitments and resources.Integrates principles of adult learning into program design e.g., building on learner strengths/experience and encourage active participation and application.Incorporates creative approaches in selecting teaching techniques.Assists in the orientation and development of new staff.Assists with facilitating clinical practicum rotations, orientations, and

Proficiency in Clinical environments is required. The position will require the ability to lift, and carry, up to 50 pounds and push or pull over 50 pounds. The position will require bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, reaching overhead, sitting and standing frequently. Occasionally the position requires climbing, kneeling and crawling. The position requires continuous finger dexterity and fine manipulation.
