Job DescriptionCrossBoundary s legal team is recruiting a full-time lawyer to work alongside our General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel on a broad set of matters.In this varied role you will provide advice in connection with Dhow Ventures and TFFN and new ventures of the CrossBoundary Group, and support CrossBoundary Advisory in connection with new mandates as well as on legal and structuring issues that arise in their engagements. You will also play a lead role in legal operations and compliance for our entities and staff around the world, including in relation to contract management, corporate, immigration and employment matters.

Support of Dhow Ventures and The Fund For Nature in the diligence, structuring and documentation of investmentsSupport the structuring and implementation of new CrossBoundary Group venturesAdvise the leadership of CrossBoundary Advisory in connection with new mandates, including on teaming and engagement agreementsSupport Advisory teams in connection with existing engagements, including to support clients in structuring and fundraising activitiesTake a lead role in legal operational matters, including with respect to contract management, precedents and processes, all with the support of our Legal AdministratorManage the establishment of new entities, including (alongside local counsel) company and tax registration, localisation of employment agreements, and office leasesManage and report on compliance of existing Group entities including with respect to corporate matters (statutory requirements and timeframes) and (working alongside the People Team) employment and immigration issuesSupport additional policy priorities in areas relevant to CrossBoundary s evolving business development needs

Qualifications:

Law degree with strong academic credentials from an accredited university and associated Bar admissionAt least 4 6 years of experience in a premier law firm and/or an in-house legal departmentExperience with corporate matters, in particular regarding Delaware LLCsExperience working across multiple jurisdictions and time zonesFamiliarity with corporate documents and processes, ideally in both civil law and common law jurisdictionsAdvanced understanding of finance concepts and structures, ideally with experience in the structuring of US-based funds and related securities law questionsExperience drafting, reviewing and negotiating finance documents, share purchase agreements and other corporate agreementsFluency in the English language is required; additional language skills would be a great plusLocationThe chosen candidate would join our General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel in Washington, DC. They should be open to frequent international travel.
