Job description

Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), Marketing and Communication have evolved to a fully digital set of workflows that tie in closely with our overall contact management efforts; our audience, stakeholders, and potential donors are all actively online. MLT is seeking to hire a Manager to support infrastructure development and staff training for the increasing number of technical tasks that emerge at the intersection of communications, marketing, and the community platforms we run for recruitment and program delivery, partnership management, and marketing and alumni activities.

This role will work across the organization and see MLT's entire value chain from prospects to partners, while working on cutting-edge digital systems that are essential to all modern organizations. In support of MLT Marketing, this role will be essential in ensuring our recruitment funnel is optimized for the many various digital channels that exist today. In addition to supporting potential fellows, this role will help ensure our thought leadership activities and associated white papers, reports, and data sets are appropriately distributed and tracked. For MLT Programs, communications during the application process and upon matriculation is critical to program quality and ultimately Fellow success; the successful incumbent will manage and assist the programs in this capacity to facilitate smooth operations.

Work You'll Do
    • Create, deliver, and track efficiency of communications in a technical and analytics-oriented manner, ensuring that MLT data flows are optimized such that the right message is delivered to the right person at the right time with minimum effort and robust tracking / reporting
    • Act as the point person on email communication, creating, tracking, and analyzing dashboards on campaigns, and ensuring compliance with privacy and unsubscribe rules
    • Work with Marketing team to conceive and deliver content for MLT's website / microsites, using available assets to strengthen visitors' digital experience
    • Work across teams to scrub and update all lists and contact inventories to ensure integrity and quality improvement

What You Have
    • Must be able to commute to the Bethesda, MD office two days per week
    • 4-7 years marketing or communications experience with an affinity with leading-edge marketing tools and associated data; experience with Google Analytics a plus
    • Experience with / knowledge of various platforms but especially Hubspot, Salesforce, Symplicity CSM, Canvas, inter / intranets.
    • Demonstrated experience using social media in their fullest and most robust capacities: dashboard creation, analytics capture and reporting, and related
    • Simple HTML is required
    • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business preferred
