Job description

Growing technology firm looking to hire a Front-End Developer to their team.

As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining user-facing features of web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to create seamless and engaging user experiences. Your expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be crucial in translating design mockups and wireframes into interactive and responsive interfaces that delight users on all platforms.

Requirements:

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with experience in modern front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

Familiarity with mobile development frameworks/libraries (e.g., React Native, Flutter) and mobile platform-specific considerations.

Experience with responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Material Design).

Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and strategies to address them.

Strong understanding of mobile-first and progressive enhancement approaches.

Experience with version control systems, especially Git.

Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Portfolio showcasing mobile and web front-end development projects is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with server-side programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Express.js) for full-stack development.

Understanding of web security principles and best practices.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

Knowledge of mobile app performance optimization techniques.

Experience with mobile-specific features like push notifications, geolocation, and offline storage.

Familiarity with testing frameworks/libraries (e.g., Jest, Mocha, XCTest) and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.

User Interfaces: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces based on provided designs and specifications.
