Position Summary: The Birth Assistant is accountable directly to the Director of Midwifery. The position is responsible for assisting Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) with non-clinical duties and serves as second on-site staff member with CPR and NNR certifications. This position will be PRN and scheduled on an as-needed basis at our Family Health and Birth Center in NE DC.
