Job description
The Swift Group is looking for a Network Designer to join an exciting mission oriented program. The role is located on onsite in Herndon, VA and requires a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage experience with network traffic engineering experience
- Support a technology-based program supporting a key government customer.
- Participate in delivering engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems.
- Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery.
- Minimum of 11 years' experience in IT systems engineering or administration.
- Network traffic engineering experience to support a large IT network infrastructure project
- Hands on experience with ISO-XR
- Hands on experience designing, operating and trouble shooting networks with MPLS, BGP, IS-IS and EVPN
- Experience with technology and scientific principles to the measurement, modeling, characterization and control of network traffic to maintain customers service level agreements
- Experience in network management tools, SNMP and model driven telemetry
- Experience with Cisco WAE, Cisco Cross Works Optima, or similar tools
- Experience testing network systems and maintaining test plans
- Experience with network traffic generators such as TRex, or Ixia
- HS Diploma
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
