The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Position Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cloud System Administrator to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based Linux system administration for large Hadoop and Accumulo cloud-based cluster environments
- Experience with bash, python, and configuration management tools such as puppet
- Experience deploying, configuring, maintaining cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience automating routine tasks and processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience monitoring systems and resolving or escalating network and data flow alerts for cloud systems hardware, software or network issues
- Strong background in troubleshooting operations system issues
- Experience with Prometheus, HDFS, and Grafana are highly desirable
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- A cloud certification is required
- This position involves sedentary work with physical requirements expected for at least 50% of the time. Essential functions include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking.
