What you will do::

This position will run the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including onboarding staff, administering benefits, leave program administrative activities, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Reviews, tracks, and maintains document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory requirements.
  • Monitors and completes employment verifications.
  • Maintains new hire orientations and employee recognition/service programs.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including but not limited to compensation (incentives), benefits, leave of absences, employment relations, performance and talent management, productivity, and functional continuous improvement.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
What you will bring::
  • BS or BA in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or other related field of study.
  • 2+ year of human resource management experience, preferred.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Working knowledge of business acumen, financial concepts, and procedures.
