What You'll Do:
Operates word processing equipment and software to enter initial inmate records Retrieve and/or manage data/reports into local and/or state computer systems (e.g. DOTS Portal, LEADS, Transitional Control and BCS Placement databases). Monitors and scans placement packets for Transitional Control (TC), Intensive Program Prison (IPP), Parole or Post Release Control (PRC) supervision to appropriate DRC folders and halfway houses. Receives correspondence from Common Pleas Court judges pertaining to Transitional Control, entering court decision into database and DOTS Portal. Verifies information in DOTS Portal Retrieves Presentence Investigation (PSI) reports Prints Expiration of Definite Sentence (EDS) Certificates Processes reports and maintains database integrity Maintain Law Enforcement Automated Data System (LEADS) certification. Monitor DRC BCS Pass mailbox, to retrieve home pass requests from halfway houses Process and interpret LEADS inquiry on all persons listed Enter information into database and responds directly to requesting halfway house

Qualifications 1 yr. trg. or 1 yr. exp. in secretarial science or business office applications. For positions requiring technical terminology, applicants must also have 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in relevant technical terminology.
