Media/Videographer Specialist

We are seeking a multi-talented visionary with the skills to educate, inspire, and tell stories through video. You would play a pivotal role producing compelling video content to multiple target audiences and across multiple platforms. As a part of the team this role demands a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Full participation throughout the entire production process, from concept development to final delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to create content that achieves specific business outcomes.
  • Drive initiatives and ensure the smooth completion of the production process without constant supervision.
  • Provide creative input and feedback throughout the production process, contributing to our organization's strategic goals.
  • Stay updated with new technologies and techniques in the field and leverage them to enhance the output and quality of production.
  • Develop relevant and engaging multimedia training content through compelling media and interactivity.

Requirements:

  • United States Citizenship
  • Minimum of 5 years producing video content, with a portfolio showcasing work for businesses.
  • Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator. Proficient with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Comprehensive expertise in media production, encompassing video editing, file management and organization, graphic design, motion graphics, audio editing, and the creation of subtitles and thumbnails.
  • Solid understanding of professional video streaming and studio equipment.
  • Strong process flow skills with a proven track record of working video production processes from concept to completion.
  • Great communicator with the ability to collaborate and share suggestions with the team.
  • Openness to leveraging new technologies, including AI, to enhance production quality and efficiency.
  • Self-motivated and action-oriented, capable of working independently without constant supervision.
  • Diverse expertise in the areas of graphic design, web design, eLearning development, animation, and audio/video editing.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with Adobe Captivate.
  • Experience working with scripting and code for development in Arma 3 (idle animations, trigger events, etc)
  • Experience interviewing Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and cultivating a rapport that fosters collaboration
  • Being comfortable with working in remote locations (forest/desert) for extended periods of time (up to 72 hours), without contact outside the group.

Education: A High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Travel: 10% Travel to various CONUS locations

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
