What are we looking for?

The IT Project Manager will serve as the point of contact for the OHCE clients and work with the Business Analyst and the SharePoint Development Team to meet the contract objectives. This includes leading and supporting all project activities related to 1) maintain current OHCE SPO Sites and Microsoft Power Platform applications, 2) design, develop, and deploy new SPO Sites and Microsoft Power Platform applications 3) provide O&M services to the OHCE SPO cloud environment, including Help Desk/User Support and 4) develop and provide training for SOP Sites and Microsoft Power Platform applications.

The IT Project Manager is also responsible for financial and people management for the contract and assists with DRT business development efforts as directed.

Fun stuff you will do on the job:

Provide project management to establish control, management, monitoring, and notification mechanisms, ensuring all requirements within the SOW stay on track and milestones and performance measures are met.

Interact with client stakeholders to understand project requirements, expectations, and priorities.

Manage multiple concurrent projects that are complex in nature, with responsibilities of ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.

Lead the technical solutioning sessions with the SharePoint development team for enhancing existing SPO Sites and Power Platform applications and new development projects.

Assist with System/Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed.

Manage Integrated Master Schedule to account for all O&M and DME activities performed on the contract.

Identify and manage risks/issues at the project level and the contract level.

Manage all project coordination activities with the COR and other OHCE stakeholders, including meeting facilitation (e.g., Agendas, Meeting Minutes, Action Items).

Generate and deliver status reports (e.g., Weekly Status Reports, Monthly Status Reports) as per the contract requirements.

Create and maintain management plans (e.g., Project Management Plan, Communication Plan, Risk Management Plan) as per the contract requirements.

Support the development of training documents required for each project assigned.

Create Enterprise Performance Lifecyle (EPLC) technical documents per project requirements.

Address and resolve user inquiries/issues logged through Help Desk.

Conduct monthly 1-1 sessions and periodic performance evaluation of team members.

Manage and report contract financials.

Work with the Portfolio Manager to provide status reports (e.g., PMR, risks/issues, deliverables) support business development efforts as directed.

Support other client and DRT activities (e.g. BD, Account Operations) as directed by Portfolio Manager.

This is you:

10+ years of experience with managing systems and software development projects.

Demonstrated experience with working in an Agile software development environment.

Demonstrated experience in managing project scope, schedule, and cost; risk management; and resource management to execute project tasks.

Demonstrated experience in analyzing problems that impact the project and provide innovative solutions/options that include analysis of schedules, costs, and technology/tools.

Demonstrated experience with project management frameworks and agile best practices and the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Demonstrated experience with developing and reviewing IT programmatic documentation and plans, including capturing and documenting requirements.

Demonstrated experience with governance processes and control gates and customer and stakeholder relations and engagement, including Agile management techniques to direct the daily operations of a technology team.

Demonstrated experience with financial, schedule, and performance oversight.

Requires excellent verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail.

Must be able to multitask efficiently and effectively.

Able to work independently and with teams.

Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Previous experience working with or for Federal Agencies.

Demonstrated experience in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI) and SharePoint Online architecture.

Education & Training:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field (Preferred)

Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification (Required)

SharePoint Online & MS Power Platform certifications (Preferred)

Currently due to the remote working status of the federal government, most DRT employees are teleworking from home and leveraging video conferencing along with other virtual productivity tools. Under normal circumstances, most of our positions are required to report onsite. However, DRT has not yet determined when employees will be required to return to their onsite workspaces. Please be aware that at the time a date is determined to return to the worksite, the requirement of this position may be to report in person to the work location.
