Job description
The Swift Group is looking for an experience Java Developer to assist a development team in the design and development of a replacement system to replace the legacy operational system. This person will maintain operation java code, troubleshoot issues with operation code, and respond and reply to user notification of processing issues. This position is located in Herndon, VA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support development team in the design and development of a replacement system to replace the legacy operational system
- Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
- Update job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Hands on experience with Java
- Ability to read and troubleshoot legacy code
- Proven work experience with O&M
- BA/BS Degree or five additional years' experience in lieu of a degree
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
