System Administrator Summer Intern

Location: Chantilly, VA (onsite)
Job type: Internship (Part-time - 20 hours a week)
Responsibilities:The intern will be involved with System Administration as it relates to a infrastructure inventory, Active Directory, system upgrades, backup, and cabling. They will be involved with upgrading software on laptops, installing new operating systems, setting up networks, and will be connecting computers to Active Directory. The intern will also be helping with updating IT inventory and other IT projects as assigned.

Skills needed:
- Pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in related discipline or 1 year demonstrated experience in school work, internships, or jobs
- Windows or Linux Administration experience
- A+ / N+ certifications
- Asset Management experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
- Strong communication skills
