Our client is a certified woman owned small business established in 2015 in Columbia, MD. They specialize in cyber security operations and engineering, software development, data science and analytic development, security engineering, risk management, and cloud migration. The work:
They are seeking talented Senior Software Engineers to design, build, and implement complex software for computer systems. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to create client-focused solutions using cutting-edge tools. This hybrid role offers remote and in-person work options with a strong focus on work-life balance.

What you'll need:
- BS and nine (9) years of experience in software development/engineering roles; experience can substitute degrees.
- DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II compliance certification is required (i.e. Security+).
- A current Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship required.

Demonstrated experience with:
- Java and Python development and enterprise API design; scripting experience is a HUGE plus
- RESTful webservices, Microservices architecture and OOP paradigms
- Linux systems and configuration management tools (Git, Nexus, Maven)
- Cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed databases, NoSQL databases (e.g. Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr) are a huge plus
- Agile software development methodologies and ability to collaborate with teams (and work well on your lonesome!)

Clearance requirement: Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship required. Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.

Location/telework: Hybrid schedule with onsite location in Columbia, MD.
